Target Information
Vesicle-associated membrane protein-associated protein B/C (VAPB) is encoded by the VAPB gene on chromosome 20 in humans.
This type IV membrane protein is found in plasma and intracellular vesicle membranes. It forms homodimers and heterodimers with VAPA, interacts with VAMP1 and VAMP2, and may play a role in vesicle trafficking.
