Target Information
Spectrin (Sp)는 적혈구 세포막 골격의 주요 단백질로, 세포의 이중오목 형태를 유지하면서 유연성과 탄성을 제공합니다.
적혈구의 Spectrin은 280 kDa α-서브유닛과 246 kDa β-서브유닛으로 구성된 이합체이며, 서로 반대 방향으로 결합해 약 100 nm 길이의 막대형 구조를 형성합니다.
비적혈구 조직에서는 유사하지만 상동적인 α 및 β 서브유닛으로 구성될 수 있으며, 이를 fodrin이라 부르기도 합니다.
새로운 명명법에 따르면, 적혈구의 서브유닛은 α-1 및 β-1로, fodrin의 서브유닛은 α-2 및 β-2로 지정됩니다. 각 서브유닛의 대체 스플라이싱 형태는 ε-1, ε-2 등으로 명명됩니다(예: β-1 ε-1).
