This antibody detects endogenous levels of Stathmin 1 only when phosphorylated at Serine 38.
Target Information
Stathmin 1 belongs to the stathmin family of genes. It encodes a ubiquitous cytosolic phosphoprotein that functions as an intracellular relay integrating regulatory signals of the cellular environment. Stathmin 1 regulates the microtubule filament system by destabilizing microtubules, preventing assembly, and promoting disassembly. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
