Target Information
Glutamate에 의해 활성화되는 이온 채널은 일반적으로 두 가지로 구분됩니다.
N-methyl-D-aspartate(NMDA)에 민감한 수용체는 NMDA receptor(NMDAR)로,
alpha-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxalone propionic acid(AMPA)에 의해 활성화되는 수용체는 AMPA receptor(AMPAR)로 불립니다.
AMPAR은 GluR1–4로 명명된 네 가지 Glutamate Receptor Subunit으로 구성되며, 뇌의 거의 모든 흥분성 신경전달에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
GluR2 서브유닛은 LTD와 같은 시냅스 가소성 형태에 핵심적인 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
