- This antibody does not cross-react with recombinant human or mouse CCL11/Eotaxin, CCL24/Eotaxin-2, CCL3, CCL4, CCL5, CCL13, or CCL14.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
Eotaxin-3 (CCL26) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. It plays a key role in regulating migration and localization of eosinophils and basophils via the CCR3 receptor.
It is expressed in several tissues including heart, lung, ovary, and endothelial cells stimulated by interleukin-4.
The gene is located on human chromosome 7.
Eotaxin-3 induces cell migration at concentrations approximately 10-fold higher than Eotaxin.
