Product Specific Information

Description:
The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human CD24 molecule (Heat Stable Antigen, HSA), a 35–50 kDa GPI-anchored membrane protein expressed on erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage cells. CD24 binds to P-selectin (CD62P).

Applications Reported:
Suitable for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Fluorochrome Information:
Super Bright 645 is a tandem dye excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 645 nm. Recommended filter: 660/20 bandpass. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Staining Panel Recommendation:
When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Light Sensitivity:
Protect from light to avoid photo-induced oxidation.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333). Clone-specific performance should be verified empirically.

405 nm / 645 nm (Violet laser)

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed during B-cell development from pro-B cells to mature surface Ig-positive B cells. Expression is low or absent in plasma cells. It is found in most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. CD24 may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity.
