Target Information
The CARD9 protein belongs to the CARD (Caspase-associated recruitment domain) family, which mediates protein–protein interactions involved in apoptosis and NF-κB activation. CARD9 acts as a molecular scaffold for the assembly of a BCL10 signaling complex, promoting NF-κB activation. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants have been reported, though their full-length sequences are not fully characterized.
