CDK1은 M-Phase Promoting Factor의 촉매 서브유닛으로, 모든 진핵생물에서 유사분열 진입을 유도합니다.
G2/M 단계에서 광역학 치료 후 Bcl-2 인산화는 CDK1 매개 신호에 의해 조절되어 세포자멸사 시작을 지연시킵니다.
또한 CDK 억제제 NU2058은 안드로겐 비의존성 전립선암에서 치료적 잠재력을 보여주었습니다.
