Target Information
The DGKZ gene encodes a protein belonging to the eukaryotic diacylglycerol kinase family. This protein may attenuate protein kinase C activity by regulating diacylglycerol levels in intracellular signaling and signal transduction. Alternative splicing at this locus results in four transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.
