Target Information
MESDC2는 저밀도 지단백 수용체(LDLR) 계열 내 β-propeller/EGF 모듈의 폴딩을 돕는 샤페론으로 작용합니다. LRP5 및 LRP6의 세포막 이동을 돕는 Wnt 경로 조절자로 기능하며, 배아 극성 및 중배엽 유도에 필수적입니다. 또한 LRP4의 세포 표면 발현을 촉진하여 신경근 접합부(NMJ) 형성에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 망막 색소 상피(RPE) 세포의 아폽토시스 관련 식세포 작용 조절에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
