CD34는 111–115 kDa 범위의 고도로 당화된 단량체 표면 단백질로, 다양한 줄기세포 집단에서 발현됩니다.
줄기세포 표지자로 알려져 있으며, 수용체 매개 내재화 및 세포 부착, 분화, 증식 조절에 관여합니다.
CD34는 조혈 줄기세포의 특정 발달 상태를 나타내며, 골수 기질 세포 또는 세포외기질에 부착하는 접착 분자로 작용할 수 있습니다.
또한 선택적 당사슬 결합을 매개하여 세포 간 상호작용을 조절하는 역할을 할 가능성이 있습니다.
