Calcineurin은 T-cell receptor 매개 신호전달 경로에서 중요한 역할을 수행합니다. 이 단백질은 활성화된 형태의 calcineurin에 특이적으로 결합하여 calcineurin 매개 신호전달을 억제합니다. 핵 내에 존재하며 leucine zipper 도메인과 여러 PEST 모티프를 포함하여 단백질의 분해를 조절합니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 두 가지 다른 isoform을 암호화하는 여러 전사 변이체가 생성됩니다.
