Product Specific Information

Reconstitution: Add 50 µL or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size. The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C. The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, prepare small aliquots and keep at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Chloride channel Kb (CLCNKB) is a member of the CLC family of voltage-gated chloride channels, which includes at least nine mammalian chloride channels. Each channel is believed to have 12 transmembrane domains and intracellular N and C termini. Mutations in CLCNKB cause autosomal recessive Type III Bartter Syndrome. CLCNKA and CLCNKB are closely related (94% sequence identity), tightly linked (separated by 11 kb of genomic sequence), and both expressed in the mammalian kidney.
