Target Information
RBP4 단백질은 lipocalin 계열에 속하며, 혈액 내에서 레티놀(retinol)의 운반체 역할을 합니다. 간의 저장소에서 말초 조직으로 비타민 A를 전달하며, 혈장 내에서는 transthyretin과 복합체를 형성하여 신장 여과를 통한 손실을 방지합니다. 비타민 A 결핍 시 결합 단백질의 분비가 저해되어 표피 세포에 대한 비타민 A 공급이 저하됩니다.
