Carrier-Free
Reconstitution:
- Briefly centrifuge vial before opening.
- Reconstitute lyophilized powder in 10 mM acetic acid to 0.1–1.0 mg/mL.
- Do not vortex.
- Store reconstituted solution at 2–8°C for up to 1 week.
- For long-term storage, dilute with buffer containing 0.1% BSA and store in aliquots at -20°C to -80°C.
Storage:
- Lyophilized protein stable at room temperature for 1 month.
- For long-term storage, keep at -20°C, preferably desiccated.
- Working aliquots with carrier protein stable for at least 12 months at -20°C to -80°C.
- Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF) is a mitogenic peptide growth factor stored in platelet alpha-granules and released upon platelet adhesion to damaged tissues. It stimulates nearby connective tissue cell replication. PDGF synthesis can be induced by IL-1, IL-6, TNF-alpha, TGF-beta, and EGF.
