Mast Cell Chymase는 peptidase family S1에 속하는 키모트립신형 세린 프로테아제입니다.

심장 및 혈관에서 angiotensin I을 angiotensin II로 전환하는 주요 효소로 작용하며, 혈압 조절 및 심혈관 질환(고혈압, 심비대, 심부전)의 병태생리와 관련이 있습니다.
