Target Information
Mesothelin은 주로 중피세포에서 발현되는 GPI-anchored 세포 표면 당단백질로, 중피종, 난소암, 췌장암 등 특정 암 조직에서 과발현되는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 정상 조직에서는 흉막, 심막, 복막의 중피세포에서 제한적으로 발현됩니다.
Mesothelin의 단백질 절단으로 생성되는 megakaryocyte potentiating factor (MPF)는 골수세포 내 거핵세포의 증식과 분화에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. Mesothelin과 MPF 모두 종양 세포의 증식, 이동, 부착 독립적 성장 및 전이 과정에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
