Adenylate kinase는 세포 내 아데닌 뉴클레오타이드 조성을 조절하는 효소로, 인산기 전이를 촉매합니다. 척추동물에서는 세 가지 이소효소(AK1, AK2, AK3)가 존재합니다.

AK1은 드문 유전 질환인 비구형성 용혈성 빈혈과 관련이 있으며, AK1 유전자 변이가 효소의 촉매 활성을 감소시킵니다.
