The Click-iT™ Plus EdU Alexa Fluor™ 488 Flow Cytometry Assay Kit provides a simplified, robust method for analyzing DNA replication in proliferating cells compared to traditional BrdU methods. Newly synthesized DNA is analyzed using the 488 nm laser of a flow cytometer. The Click-iT™ Plus formulation is compatible with standard fluorophores, including R-PE and R-PE tandems, as well as fluorescent proteins.

Advanced Method Superior to BrdU

EdU(5-ethynyl-2´-deoxyuridine)는 DNA 합성 중에 삽입되는 thymidine 유사체로, 클릭 화학 반응을 이용해 검출됩니다. 이 반응은 알카인(EdU)과 아자이드(Alexa Fluor™ dye)의 구리 촉매 반응을 기반으로 합니다. 이를 통해 세포 집단 내 S-phase 세포의 비율을 표준 유세포분석법으로 측정할 수 있습니다.

Mild Conditions for Compatibility

Click-iT™ Plus EdU assay는 온화한 조건에서도 EdU 검출이 가능하며, 표준 알데하이드 고정 및 세제 처리만으로도 DNA 접근이 가능합니다. BrdU assay에서 필요한 DNA 변성(HCl, 열, DNase 처리 등)이 필요하지 않아 세포주기 염색 및 항체 분석과 병행이 용이합니다.
