- For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10^6 cells in 100 µL.
- Suggested positive control for immunohistochemistry: human tonsil.
- Antigen retrieval using heat treatment is not required for paraffin sections; sodium citrate buffer may enhance staining.
Target Information
CD57, also known as HNK-1 and Leu-7, is an oligosaccharide antigenic determinant present on various polypeptides, lipids, and chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans. Its function is not well understood. CD57 is expressed on a subset of natural killer (NK) cells and NK T cells.
