Target Information
Ebola virus는 외피를 가진 음성 가닥 RNA 바이러스로, Filoviridae과에 속합니다. 형태학적으로 Marburg virus와 유사하지만 항원적 특성은 다릅니다.
게놈은 비분절 RNA로 구성되어 있으며, SDS-PAGE 분석 시 7개의 구조 단백질이 확인됩니다:
- NP (104 K)
- GP (125 K, glycosylated)
- L protein (180 K)
- VP40 (40 K)
- ViPX (35 K)
- VP30 (30 K)
- VP24 (24 K)
모든 단백질은 virion RNA에 상보적인 단일 cistron mRNA 전사체에 의해 암호화됩니다. GP는 표면 스파이크의 주요 단백질로, 유일하게 당화된 125K 바이러스 단백질입니다.
