TRPV1 (Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel Subfamily V Member 1)
TRPV1은 캡사이신(capsaicin)의 수용체로, 고추의 매운 성분에 반응하여 통증 신경을 활성화시키는 비선택적 양이온 채널입니다. TRPV1은 TRP 계열 이온 채널(TRPC3, TRPC6 등)과 구조적으로 유사하며, 칼슘, 마그네슘, 나트륨, 칼륨 등의 양이온에 대해 투과성을 가집니다.
6개의 막관통 도메인, P-loop 막 도메인, 3개의 ankyrin 반복 도메인을 포함하며, 유해한 온도 상승에도 활성화되어 통증 전달에 관여합니다.
TRPV1은 감각 신경절 내 뉴런에 주로 발현되며, IBS(과민성 대장 증후군) 및 방광 질환 등과 관련이 있습니다.
