Target Information
Podolyxin은 podocytes, vascular endothelium, mesothelium 및 일부 hematopoietic progenitor 세포에서 발현되는 CD34 계열 단백질입니다. Glomerular podocytes의 glycocalyx 주요 sialoprotein으로 알려져 있으며, leukemic blasts에서의 생리적 역할은 아직 명확하지 않습니다. 또한 prostate cancer의 종양 침습성과 관련된 후보 유전자로 연구되고 있습니다. Podolyxin은 hematopoietic 및 endothelial 세포의 공통 전구체인 hemangioblasts의 표면 마커로서 CD34를 보완하는 역할을 합니다.
