CHP1은 ROCK2의 키나아제 활성을 억제하여 중심체 복제를 조절하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 HSP90의 코샤페론으로 작용하며, NOD1 조절에도 관여할 수 있습니다. In vitro에서는 고유의 샤페론 활성을 가지며, ROCK2와 NPM1의 결합을 억제함으로써 기능을 수행할 수 있습니다. 스트레스 반응 및 종양 발생 억제에 관련된 역할을 합니다.
