Target Information
CD4 항원은 MHC class II 분자 인식에 관여하며, HIV의 공동수용체로 작용합니다.
주로 T helper 세포로 알려진 T-림프구 하위집단에서 발현되며, 단핵구, 대식세포, 수지상세포 등에서도 발현될 수 있습니다.
조직 수준에서 CD4는 흉선, 림프절, 편도, 비장 및 일부 비림프조직(뇌, 장 등)에서도 검출됩니다.
CD4는 T세포 수용체 복합체 및 단백질 티로신 키나아제 Lck와의 상호작용을 통해 T세포 활성화의 초기 단계를 유도하거나 강화합니다.
또한 중추신경계의 감염성 또는 면역 매개 질환에서 직접적인 신경 손상의 매개체로 작용할 수 있습니다.
