PA1-4130 detects ETR-3 in human and mouse samples.
This antibody has been successfully used in Western blot procedures.
By Western blot, it detects a ~50 kDa protein representing ETR-3 in heart lysate.
The PA1-4130 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal residues V(478) Q L K R S K N D S K P Y C(490) of human ETR3 (a.a. 496–508 in mouse).
Target Information
CUG-BP1 and CUG-BP2 are proteins that bind specifically to (CUG)₈ oligonucleotides in vitro.
CUG-BP1 has the major binding activity in normal cells, while nuclear CUG-BP2 binding activity increases in DM cells.
Both CUG-BP1 and CUG-BP2 are isoforms of a heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP), hNab50.
CUG-BP1, an RNA CUG triplet repeat binding protein, regulates splicing and translation of various RNAs.
Expansion of RNA CUG repeats in DMPK in DM is associated with altered binding activity of CUG-BP1 and changes in translation of the C/EBPβ transcription factor.
CUG-BP1 acts as an important regulator of initiation from different AUG codons of C/EBPβ mRNA.
