Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

MAP2K3 (MEK3) is a dual-specificity protein kinase involved in cellular signal transduction pathways.
It phosphorylates and activates MAPK14/p38-MAPK and is necessary for glucose transporter expression.
Activation of this kinase by insulin or RAS oncogene expression can lead to oncogenic transformation through constitutive MAPK14 activation.
Inhibition of MAP2K3 is implicated in the pathogenesis of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported for MEK3.
