Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

MAP2K3 (MEK3) is a dual-specificity protein kinase involved in cellular signal transduction pathways and necessary for the expression of glucose transporter. It phosphorylates and activates MAPK14/p38-MAPK, and can be activated by insulin. Expression of the RAS oncogene results in accumulation of active MAP2K3, leading to constitutive activation of MAPK14 and oncogenic transformation of primary cells. Inhibition of this kinase is implicated in the pathogenesis of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported for MEK3.
