Target Information
USP8 (Ubiquitin Specific Protease 8) is a deubiquitinating enzyme that regulates protein turnover by preventing degradation. It is involved in cell proliferation and may regulate the stability of STAM2 and RASGRF1.
USP8 forms complexes with RNF128, OTUB1, and STAM2, influencing T-cell energy regulation. Expression increases upon growth stimulation and decreases under growth arrest conditions.
