Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
DACH1 is a transcription factor involved in the regulation of organogenesis. It acts as a regulator of SIX1, SIX6, and possibly SIX5. DACH1 participates in switching SIX1-mediated repression of precursor cell proliferation to coactivation through EYA3 recruitment. It also interacts with CREBBP for transcriptional activation and represses cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors such as p27Kip1. Additionally, DACH1 inhibits TGF-beta signaling through interactions with SMAD4 and NCOR1 and binds chromatin DNA via its DACHbox-N domain.
