이 단백질은 EPS15(NPF 반복 도메인), AP-2, 클라트린(DPW 반복 도메인)과 결합하며, 세포질 내 클라트린 피복 소낭과 관련된 점상 구조에 존재합니다.
특히 골지 복합체 주변에 농축되어 있으며, 뇌에서 가장 높은 발현을 보이고 폐와 간에서는 낮은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
