SPARCL1은 세포외 기질에 존재하는 분비 단백질로, 림프절, 뇌, 심장, 폐, 골격근, 난소, 소장, 대장에서 높게 발현됩니다. 태반, 췌장, 고환, 비장, 흉선에서는 낮은 수준으로 발현되며, 신장, 간, 말초혈액 백혈구에서는 발현되지 않습니다.
