Hamster anti-Mouse CD79b antibody, clone HM79-11, recognizes murine CD79 beta expressed by B cells as part of the B cell receptor complex (immunoglobulin and the CD79 alpha/beta heterodimer).
Target Information
CD79b is the B cell antigen receptor Ig beta chain (BCR-Ig beta), which associates with the B cell antigen receptor Ig alpha chain to form a functional heterodimer interacting with membrane immunoglobulin (mIg). The mIgM component binds antigen, and the Ig alpha/Ig beta heterodimer transduces signals.
