For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD86 is one of two ligands (the other being CD80) for CTLA4 and CD28. It functions as a costimulatory molecule in T-cell activation during antigen presentation. Insufficient co-stimulation via CD86/CD80 may induce tolerance.
CD86 is a type I membrane protein and a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, expressed on antigen-presenting cells. It interacts with CD28 and CTLA4 on T cells to either activate or inhibit immune responses.
Alternative splicing generates multiple transcript variants of CD86. Dysregulation of CD86 is associated with diseases such as gallbladder squamous cell carcinoma and myocarditis.
