Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, perform another round of desalting (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Heme oxygenase is an essential enzyme in heme catabolism that cleaves heme to form biliverdin, which is converted to bilirubin by biliverdin reductase, producing carbon monoxide as a byproduct.
There are two isozymes: inducible heme oxygenase-1 (HMOX1) and constitutive heme oxygenase-2 (HMOX2).
HMOX1 and HMOX2 belong to the heme oxygenase family. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding three different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
