Due to low expression of EDG receptors, it is recommended to use Femto Signal Substrate for Western blot.
A suggested positive control for this product is RH7777 cells transfected with EDG7.
Target Information
EDG7 (LPAR3) is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family, part of the EDG family of proteins.
It functions as a cellular receptor for lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) and mediates LPA-evoked calcium mobilization.
This receptor couples predominantly to G(q/11) alpha proteins.
EDG7 expression has been reported in human prostate, and in rodent brain, kidney, lung, placenta, prostate, and testis.
ESTs have been isolated from normal prostate libraries and cancer libraries of head/neck, ovary, and thyroid.
