Target Information
The G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily comprises an estimated 600–1,000 members and represents the largest known class of molecular targets with therapeutic relevance.
GPR12 is an orphan GPCR that constitutively activates the Gs protein, increasing intracellular cAMP levels. It can also be activated by sphingosylphosphorylcholine, promoting cellular processes such as proliferation, neurite outgrowth, cell survival, and differentiation.
