Target Information
RbAp46 is a ubiquitously expressed nuclear protein belonging to a conserved subfamily of WD-repeat proteins. It interacts with retinoblastoma protein, regulating cell proliferation, and is found in histone deacetylase complexes such as the mSin3 co-repressor complex. The protein also participates in chromatin assembly and interacts with the BRCA1 tumor-suppressor gene, suggesting roles in proliferation and differentiation regulation.
