Target Information
Dynamins are a subfamily of GTP-binding proteins sharing significant sequence similarity in the N-terminal GTPase domain. They associate with microtubules and are involved in cellular processes such as endocytosis, cell motility, and membrane remodeling. Dynamins interact with actin-binding and cytoskeletal proteins, can self-assemble to enhance GTPase activity, and exist in multiple alternatively spliced forms.
