Target Information
TAS1R1은 추정 미각 수용체로, TAS1R3와 함께 감칠맛(umami) 자극인 글루탐산나트륨(MSG)에 반응하며 대부분의 20가지 표준 L-아미노산에도 반응합니다.
D-에난티오머나 기타 화합물에는 반응하지 않으며, 종 내 및 종 간의 서열 차이는 미각 반응의 선택성과 특이성에 영향을 줄 수 있습니다.
TAS1R1은 주로 혀의 유두(fungiform papillae)에 강하게 발현됩니다.
