Target Information
ATP7B는 P-type 양이온 수송 ATPase 계열에 속하는 유전자로, 여러 막 관통 도메인, ATPase 공통 서열, hinge 도메인, 인산화 부위, 그리고 최소 2개의 구리 결합 부위를 포함하는 단백질을 암호화합니다.
이 단백질은 단량체 형태로 작용하며, 간세포 내 구리를 담즙으로 배출하는 등 세포 외로 구리를 수출합니다.
서로 다른 세포 내 위치를 갖는 다양한 전사 스플라이스 변형체가 알려져 있으며, 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 윌슨병(Wilson disease, WD)과 관련이 있습니다.
