Target Information
Epidermal growth factor-like protein 7 (EGFL7), also known as VE-statin, MEGF7, Notch4-like protein, or Zneu1, is a 29.6 kDa protein produced and secreted by endothelial cells. EGFL7 is expressed in both normal and malignant tissues, playing a key role in regulating angiogenesis and vasculogenesis. Elevated EGFL7 levels are associated with tissues undergoing active angiogenesis in various disorders.
