Target Information
MEIG1은 생쥐에서 처음 확인된 고환 특이적 유전자로, 감수분열 동안 발현되며 이후 정자 형성 단계에서도 핵 내에 유지되는 염색체 결합 단백질입니다.
이 유전자는 정상적인 감수분열 분화와 정자 세포의 최종 분화에 필수적이며, 두 가지 대체 전사체(2a2와 11a2)를 생성합니다. 두 전사체는 공통 ORF를 암호화하지만 5' UTR 영역이 다릅니다.
