Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, accounting for about 10% of surface proteins in lymphocytes.
It is absent in non-hematopoietic cell lines and tissues. CD45 plays a crucial role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases.
Multiple isoforms exist due to alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains but sharing identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains.
CD45RA, one isoform, shows restricted expression among lymphoid cell subtypes.
CD45 regulates T- and B-cell receptor signaling, suppresses JAK kinases, and modulates integrin-mediated pathways, apoptosis, and various immune functions.
