Product Description

The GlobalFiler IQC kit is a robust, single-amplification STR multiplex kit optimized for challenging casework samples. Using six dyes, it incorporates additional markers to generate a highly discriminating profile suitable for forensic applications.

It includes all major global database markers, including 10 mini-STRs, for optimal results with degraded DNA. The buffer system delivers greater sensitivity for inhibited and low-concentration samples. The integrated IQC enables differentiation between inhibition and degradation while providing a positive amplification control.

Advanced oligo synthesis and purification produce clean baselines and balanced profiles, simplifying data analysis. Maintenance of NGM Select and Identifiler primer sequences ensures concordance with previously typed samples. Multiple gender markers allow accurate typing of male, degraded, or Y-negative samples. Expanded allelic ladder ranges include rare alleles as described in STRbase.
