Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 13C (TNFRSF13C), also known as BAFFR, is a human protein encoded by the TNFRSF13C gene located on chromosome 22q13.1–q13.31.
It encodes a 184-amino-acid transmembrane protein that shares 56% identity with the mouse protein.
B cell-activating factor (BAFF) enhances B-cell survival in vitro and regulates the peripheral B-cell population.
BAFF plays a crucial role in B cell development and can signal through receptors other than BCMA.
