Target Information
E2F5는 E2F 전사인자 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, 세포 주기 조절과 종양 억제 단백질의 작용에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 이 단백질군은 DNA 결합 도메인, DP 단백질과의 상호작용을 결정하는 이합체화 도메인, 산성 아미노산이 풍부한 전사활성화 도메인, 그리고 전사활성화 도메인 내에 위치한 종양 억제 단백질 결합 도메인을 포함합니다. E2F5는 다양한 인간 조직에서 발현되며, E2F4와 높은 상동성을 보입니다. E2F5와 E2F4는 p130 및 p107 종양 억제 단백질과 상호작용하지만 pRB와는 결합하지 않습니다. 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 여러 이소폼이 생성됩니다.
