이 단백질은 포도당 항상성의 음성 조절자이며, 염증, ER 스트레스, 미토콘드리아 기능장애 및 세포자멸 경로에 관련됩니다.
또한 Wnt/β-catenin 신호전달 경로의 핵심 구성요소로, β-catenin의 분해를 매개하여 Wnt 신호를 억제합니다.
