Product Description

Norgen’s Exosomal RNA Isolation Kit provides an all-in-one system for isolating exosomal RNA from extracellular vesicles (EVs) previously isolated using IZON’s qEV columns or concentrated using IZON’s EV Concentration Kit.
This kit isolates all sizes of EV RNA, including microRNA, without the need for phenol/chloroform, protease treatment, or specialized instruments.
Elution volume is flexible (50–100 μL), and the purified RNA is suitable for applications such as real-time PCR, RT-PCR, Northern blotting, RNase protection, primer extension, and expression array assays.

Storage Conditions and Product Stability
All buffers should be tightly sealed and stored at room temperature (15–25°C).
Stable for 2 years after shipment.
If salt precipitation occurs, warm Lysis Buffer A for 20 minutes at 60°C.

Spin Column

• What if a variable speed centrifuge is not available?
  A fixed speed centrifuge can be used; reduced yields may occur.

• At what temperature should I centrifuge samples?
  Room temperature; 4°C centrifugation will not affect performance.

• What if reagent volumes differ from specified?
  Deviations may reduce RNA quality and yield.

• Forgot dry spin before elution?
  Wash Solution A contamination may occur, affecting RNA quality.

• Can I perform a second elution?
  Yes; recommended second elution volume is 50% of the first.

• Low RNA yield?
  Exosomes contain little RNA; increase sample input to improve yield.

• A260/280 ratio lower than 2.0?
  Short RNA fragments yield lower ratios (1–1.6); acceptable for downstream use.

• Poor performance in downstream applications?
  Check elution buffer for interfering components (high salts, detergents, denaturants).
