Target Information
The IRF5 gene encodes a member of the interferon regulatory factor (IRF) family, transcription factors involved in virus-mediated activation of interferon and regulation of cell growth, differentiation, apoptosis, and immune system activity. Members share a conserved N-terminal DNA-binding domain with tryptophan (W) repeats. Alternative splice variants produce different isoforms.
